in Road buying advice

I have entered a sportive (Alpenbrevet Gold) and will be riding with a rental Scott Solace 10. I could not find much online info about the bike.

Question:

is the seatpost round? What diameter? Or funny propietary shape oval etc? I'm asking as I plan to take my Altura bag that needs a round seatpost.

    From an old Bikeradar review, it says 27.2mm round post. Can't imagine they changed this on any subsequent versions of the model, so I assume you will be fine with the Altura bag.
