Strange that I don't see any spam.
Windy indeedy. We shall brace ourselves. Beans will put a paw over his nose.

Best give the mutts a walk before the wind starts up. Then a trip to the shops followed by furniture moving in advance of the decorators coming in tomorrow to do the dining room. Something to do while the weather's shyte I suppose.

Currently no spam on CS, but oodles of it elsewhere on the forums.
I'm grabbing the chance of a not-brass-monkeys-but-windy morning to ride over to see my 92-y-o godmother in Sidmouth for coffee & cake and then the return via Peak Hill. Back wheel changed (shot bearings and rims) and new rear gear cable.

Tail wind home? If it's not, you may be in for a suffer fest.

Good luck Brian, it's forecast 45-50mph winds round that part of the world from midday.

Back by lunchtime, sticking to roads with hedgerows... one of the advantages of Devon's medieval road system.

Spam???
Rocking up late to the day has its advantages.
Currently sifting through a tribute act accounts, great fun on a Sunday.
Zwift later for knee related physio and hills are encouraged now. Wooo.
Not sure about dinner but MrsHD had better top last nights slow cooked short rib in red wine.

Morning
a touch breezy here and will blowing at 60mph soon according to the forecast. Fortunately still too snotty and chesty to even consider riding though I might attempt a session on the board. Not much else happening other than Mrs W making bunting for the village hall Burns night.

An unpleasant night evacuating the contents of my stomach. Something really didn’t agree. Anyway, time for brekkie 😃

Morning folks,
Slowish start was enjoyed, just had coffee and about to load the car to take female child back to uni. Back to an empty house for the two of us for a while which will be nice.
Welcome to the dailys Mr Trumpet, hope you didn't get blown off. Might drive into the orifice tomorrow if it's bad in the morning, would prefer not to.

I need a good swim session, bloody lane swimming at 5pm is full of breast strokers but I can't be bothered to get there at 6.30am.
