Actually riding a bike today 😳 at Llandegla with a load of pals, all on e-bikes 🤬 so going to be hard work.
need to cut down and up a couple of trees, then probably go to the club for a swim, sauna, ice bath and pint. Really looking forward to the pint.

Hola. Been a few days. Work = manic. Still, got away from the place for a meeting yesterday so that’s good. Currently sitting in sainsburys cafe waiting for a bacon and egg roll and a flat white. Which has just arrived. Dropped a bunch of cycling kit off that the post office just now. Still got loads left though. Really will have to sort the bike out and have a ride.

Threatened dampness this morning but nothing happened. Walk, coffee, then back on the rowing machine first time in a week. Fitted rear seats back in the TT, took it for a short spin to keep battery happy.
Pottered around local streets on a bike for a half hour in the late afternoon sunshine before drinks were served.

Llandegla was a lot of fun, chasing 8 e-bikes, all fun until I hit black ice coming off a berm.
carried on playing, but stopped early as when you can’t use your thumb to change gear or hold onto the bars it kind of saps the fun out of it

Just been making use of my cheapo coffee machine post ride while knocking up a big plate of pasta. Feel I've earned it after good pedal in the cold. Managed to stay upright, only one little back wheel slide moment down one of the lanes as it was pretty much completely melted on the roads.

Got smashed car light replaced for £300 less than volvo dealer, also within 4 days, rather than in 5 weeks. Cracking family volvo specialist.

Looked on here earlier and it was nothing but spam, bloody ridiculous.
Busy day, sorting some stuff this morning, then took the old dear to hospital to have her eyes lasered for glaucoma, had to stay with her for a bit. Now back home as my sister is staying with her for a few days.
Down to Brighton tomorrow to deliver female child back to uni. Then we'll have the house to ourselves for a while.

My dad has glaucoma, they regularly have to re-open the bore holes they drilled into his eyes. Gives me the shivers thinking about it.
