Same here, a few bits of the lanes had full width puddles so had to roll through and hope I remembered where the potholes were.

Evening
Happy new year to you all. Very slow start as we didn’t get home from the Village part till nearly 3 o’clock this morning. Dragged my self out for a ride in the lovely winter sunshine, managed to hit a pothole and punctured. Changed the inner tube went to pump the tyre back up but I couldn’t get the hose out of the pump, so it was ring Mrs W for a rescue. Some nice people stopped and offered me a lift but Mrs W was on her way by then.
When I got out of the shower on my return home, I found Mrs W’s dry January had lasted till 4 o’clock 🤣as she was sitting drinking bubbly with mate. Now it’s time to catch up the cycling as she’s found a Christmas movie to watch.

Friend of Bally back for the new year, clearly not because the new format is such a joy.
Very much not looking forward to a return to the grindstone tomorrow, hoping things will change before too long. Presumably Seano won't be riding much until he gets his nuts in order.
