10k mud run with a pal today, not my thing but he’s talked me into it.

Maybe fun bike later followed by the pub then home for a party at ours

Off up to the 'burbs for a full English with some mates. Why else would I be up this early on a Saturday? Later on is jobs including taking a massive pile of leaves to the tip.

Breakfasted in the cathay lounge. Went to Quantas when it opened for a cup of tea. Now boarded and waiting for the off. Back in 10 hours or more.

    Morning
Sunny and 4 degrees here. Waiting till it gets warmer before going for a ride. Smartie cat reward me for let him stay in the house rather than being shoved in the garage last night by peeing on my slippers. He’s now in the 🐕 🏡

Back home for breakfast after a sesh tarting up the flower beds around the war memorial in town, sub zero start with a very bright low sun.

7 of us there, inc a Ukrainian young woman who's keen to be actively involved in things in her refuge town. Good on her.

Another person scheduling a tip run for laterz, post some more domestic garden fettling.

They do a cold pilsner very well in a hotel bar just off the freeway. I forgot how lovely American bar staff are compared to surly Brits. Fine, it's for the tip, but it makes a difference.

My map was back to front. That's Loch Lomond.

You should have take my offer for the thinners last week, no more leaves... or fence, or shed.

I figured it might have been overkill HD. Mind you the leaves were so wet that one of those 'hippo' type bags full of them was a 2 man job to tip into the skip.
