Outdrank the ferkin students (Paul Calf statement), had a great night with the family up in Liverpool.

Today is shopping and crazy golf with the kids whilst the wife works, might go for a run though as they won’t be up for a while.

Nice lunch out and then probably head back, later is the gym and pub with friends.

    Morning coloquintes

    Nippy bright,
Bit whacked after yesterday's chainsaw action. Took a daft notion to get on with garden work.
I didn't upset the neighbour, 'cos I haven't got one.

    Morning folks,
On a train to Birmingham for my sins, nearly didn't make it because there were no London bound trains when I got to the station, badger ate the junction box at Strawberry Hill or something. Went home, got the pub hack and wobbled to Morden for the delights of the Northern Line. Now relaxing for a while before traipsing round the NEC looking at old nails and talking shop.

Morning all. In a grump today. Having to learn updated software on my new machine. Same software but 'updated'. Having to spend hours googling how to do things that took me seconds to do on the older versions only to eventually find that these essential functions are no longer supported! WTAF!?
That plus my Root Canal tooth from last week is giving me gyp. I just wanna go home and get very very drunk instead!

I thought root canal treatment removed all the nerves so you shouldn't be able tomfeel anything after that? Sounds like they've done it wrong...but alcohol is a good interim solution.

still a bit breezy up top

on the way back saw a distant speck, turned out to be a tri-er, timed my pass to perfection hitting 50k up over the mur de salinas, with a friendly ¡hola! of course

time for a pre-lunch bask before the post-lunch bask

Sunny and cool here. Done a couple of chores to keep Mrs W happy as she’s busy cleaning the downstairs windows on both sides. I bet the window cleaner comes on Monday. Might do some exercise this afternoon.

SG definitely winning today. I've now escaped the NEC and passed Cov heading south. B³ told me not to stop in Cov so I kept my head down 😂

Mmmmm.... Nice glass of Cognac is hitting the spot in all the right areas. Just want to melt into the sofa and listen to music all evening. Yeah.

@Oxoman just get young Oxo to run errands and to drive you and Mrs Oxo around everywhere. Nice personal taxi. Pubs, restaurants, shopping etc. That way he'll get experience with and without you so you won't just be letting him into the wild in one go so to speak. Good luck with car hunting. I'd recommend a Skoda Fabia as a bullet proof car.

if you're still in y, have you checked for upgrades? always worth a go, can also do it at the airport

Small world, a mate of mine was there today as well. Sent me a pic of a Mitsu Evo 6 that was up for sale for some silly price.

It was pretty busy up there, especially given the entry price.

Thought Cov was a ghost town, bands won't play no more, too much fighting on the dance floor?

Been well sunny here today, the new PVs have pushed out lots and as I'm now on an export tariff so getting pennies back for the excess, today's enough to cover a couple days of these 'kin high daily standing charges. No bad for a November day.

Been feeling knacked today, for whatevs reason. Early night, early for Saturday start as an 0800 sesh tomorrow with others to fettle the flower beds around the war memorial ahead of you know what. Hi viz rather than poppy 😉

I'll check on way back. AA on the way out. They offered biz for USD 500, which I can pass at on a daytime flight e to w. I'm more bothered on the way back, if it's that price, I might just bite.
