Shoot sleep means only time for a walk and not a run ๐Ÿ™„

Work stuff, run later and maybe a swim

Dropped Mrs. 666s car off to get another glitch sorted. So late into work, another meeting with the lovely HMRC then back to pick the car up. What a day.

Another day of enforced working at home.

Might book a trip to Corfu for the weekend.

Morning. WFW. On the bike today. Slightly warmer but certainly a stiff breeze. Not the usual direction so I might get some PB's on the way home if it stays this way.

    Sometimes. Maybe. Possibly.

There are already 11 people staying there - not sure how many bedrooms are left so itโ€™s a race between you and Pinno ๐Ÿ˜‚

  • Early gym sesh and now back at HD Towers, chicken and salad for lunch followed by an hour at a kids footy session later.
Got a dodgy dimmer to look at later in the dark which should be fun.

Cold but bright. Maybe a trip to Corfu will help. I went last year I think. Yep, photo reel confirms it. Most agreeable it was too. Must see if there's a suitcase I can stow away in.

Could go full Peter B0ner stylee and shove single beds together, then.... oh...really?

Deep in the admin world. Looks like after a year plus sans printer I'll need to replace the binned off one. Organisations who require physical signatures on physical bits of paper... how very 20th century.

Palaiokastritsa. Looks like it's the other side of the island to where you are. We took a day trip there in the shyte heap of a car that I rented. We were staying further south on that west coast.

    Afternoon
A bit climbing done and a few weights lifted. Need to ring the garage to book the car as I keep getting a message saying engine system service needed and itโ€™s gone into limp mode.
Later will be a visit to see the MiL in the local community hospital where she got admitted last night which was a massive relief for Mrs W.
  • We went to Sidari many moons ago, can't say I recall very much that was exciting but it was 20+ yrs I think.

    Headwind. frikkin cccccold.

On the way back a tractor was catching me but not that quickly. Noticed him for about a mile. Hit a small downhill ramp as it went by and got in the draft. Magic. Sucked along at 27mph. Cruising. Tail wind and cruising. Magic carpet ride with tail wind and I was cruising with a tail wind getting sucked along whilst cruising. Then catastrophe, disaster... He slowed down and turned left after 400 yds.
    Meh.

Good stiff tailwind but alas too much traffic. Fast but no PB's. [sadface..sadface\]

It was lovely last year. October is a great time to go to Greece if you're not a massive fan of the summer heat. No such luck for me this year. Porlock instead.
