Cool and moist here. Just given the hounds a bit of egg to stop them pestering for food then will head out in a bit. Having take away tonight as Mrs. 666 is going out early evening and I'll be hungry before she gets back.

    Ride tomorrow.

Dad duties most of the day. Son’s friend dropped off to me, collect son from football, entertain, take them both to birthday party, collect both and entertain till pick up. Feel tired already.

Wandering around Liverpool, then back in time for no 2 son to work and us to meet some friends for a quick drink in the old place and then off to dinner at some others.

The last chance to stay at the MIL before it gets rented out

Morning. Shopping shopped. Local shopping shopped too. Nice double espresso at cafe before wandering home. Sun is sunning. Need to clean the windows later.
    Feast to be cooked tonight..

    Morning folks,
Slowish start is being had, this will be followed by some activity as helping the lad move out when he gets here. Hopefully one load in the family car will be enough. EPO is fretting about what he will and won't take, I keep telling her it's really not a problem as he's not moving far and will be back often enough.
Looking forward to a rest tonight as I still feel rough with this plague 🙄

Went out last night. Mrs B³ had half a glass of bubbly and was stricken this morning with a migraine. I popped out for the tablets. She rose later and required fluffy pancakes to complete her recovery. 🙄

I expect I'll be tuning in to the egg chasing later.

    Afternoon
Glorious day here. I was about to do a bit of climbing when we had rush to the MiL’s as it sounded like she collapsed whist talking on the phone with Mrs W. Found her very confused and struggling to walk. She had been suffering from D and V so both she and the house needed a clean. Left Mrs W there offering TLC came home climbed and lifted some weights and will be going back shortly to pick her up.

First autumnal cooking done. Picked up a kilo of pig cheeks for not much and braised them for 3 hours in cider and stock with aromatic veg and a handful of thyme from the garden. Strained and reduced the cooking liquid and served with mash and steamed carrots. Hurrah for 🍂.

Mrs W is still with her and she’s improved but as she’s got stage 4 bowel cancer plus secondarys it’s only going one way.

In which case we can only hope it's as pain free as possible, all the best to you, your Mrs and the MiL.
