Meh, it's not to take away from his absolutely disaster of a political career.

Accepting the Windsor Framework, going back to Stormont then losing the leader who did the deal

Hmm

Not sure pretending reform is a brand new party is really honest.

Now watching the announcement on the national BBC coverage 😀

I still find myself calling them UKIP. They’ve done well in the first seat called but took all their votes from the Tories by the look of it.

29% Reform which is ahead of the MRP % shares I was looking at.
Will be interesting to see how Blythe breaks - MRP I saw predicted 22% so if higher again they are on a stormer.

JRM fronting up on Radio 5 to be fair to him despite probably losing his seat.

I'll not be fair to that prick, actually. Deserves everything he gets.

Who wants to start the clock on Reform MPs not making it to the next GE?
1985 Mercian King of Mercia - work in progress (Hah! Who am I kidding?)
Pinnacle Monzonite

Sure, just surprised he agreed to be interviewed in that situation. I guess it’s not like he needs the job. Wouldn’t be surprised if he joins Reform and stands for them next time as he was very much in the camp that the Party has lost due to moving away from the right.

Think that's it. No jeopardy for him. And no loss to the House. His theory that the GE is really a presidential ballot and is won or lost by the charisma of a great leader is somewhat undermined by getting totally owned by Keir Starmer.

Good luck to him but I'd be amazed if there's any Reform party to speak of in 5 years time.

Most of the Reform candidates are not showing at the counts (there's a conspiracy that some of them don't exist - some of the ones in Scotland don't seem to have any kind of footprint).
30p Lee got in... But Barnsley North did not go Reform despite being listed as a likely Reform gain in the exit poll.

DUP conceding that their former leader's seat in Lagan Valley is gone. Been DUP for 40 years
South Antrim they're well behind in
Their current leader seems to be behind in East Belfast
Ian Paisley, in one of the safest seats in the UK, that's been in his family for 54 years now neck and neck with hardline Unionist Jim Allister.

BBC dropping their forecast from 410 to 405 which doesn't seem entirely borne out by what we've seen so far. Labour look to be up to perhaps 30 in Scotland which is well ahead.

Lockhart holds Upper Bann for DUP
