Hello
Looking to change gears (lol) on my Crux Comp. It's fitted with an 11 speed cassette 11-42, but want to extend range to 10-50 (11 speed) with the Garbaruk cassette.
Will this fit straight on or will I have issues with the Derailleur? Someone said I might need a cage extender...
Thanks for your help and comments

What derailleur do you have? Assuming you're running 1x, you might need a new cage. Garbaruk do them for various derailleurs, but there could be other options depending on what you have.
You'll probably get recommendations of a hanger extender, but I wouldn't use one. They sometimes allow you to use a larger cassette, but compromise shifting on the smaller cogs and don't increase the capacity which you'll probably need.0 -
Thanks Whyamihere (cool name btw). I'm running a SRAM Rival 1 Long Cage and yes it is X1

You will need a new cage. Garbaruk do one as mentioned, Ratio Technology do them (you could even go 12 speed with one of their ratchet kits) and there's various cheaper versions on eBay. This is the Garbaruk one, you could run your existing jockey wheels or get new ones with the cage. https://www.garbaruk.com/rear-derailleur-cage-for-sram-11-12-speed.html?category=150
