Lake District Riders- What do you ride?

I'm looking at getting back into mountain biking and live near to Carlisle.
Most of the riding I'll do will be on the local trail centres such as Whinlatter and the 7 Staines as well as some more natural rides like Helvellyn and the Borrowdale Bash.
I'm 6'4" and around 16 stone so I'm not sure if that plays into it.
Do others ride full on trail bikes or something with a bit less travel like a Canyon Spectral 125?
I have a road bike and a gravel bike so this will be used for proper mountain biking only.
