Convert thru-axle wheels to QR

I have some stock wheels that came with my bike (Spesh DT swiss ones), they have Thru-Axles; is it possible to convert to QR for a different bike? I have the kit for another set of Prime wheels, currently used as QR but allowing it to be TA - can you swap between wheel types?
It's just a hill. Get over it.

    If you search DT swiss thru axle to QR adaptor there appear to be a few different ones available you should be able to find from there which DT swiss hubs they are compatible with. Looks like it may be possible, depending on the hubs?

    You will get adaptors for most

    I converted my Hope Pro5 hubs to qr, just changed the end caps but this means the qr is just floating unsupported in the axle just supported on the end caps. Does this cause any issues or shorten bearing life?
