Def warm and sunny here, which will make it a rather warm run. Then quick swim and some work snizzle after dropping the family off at the beach.

Cool n breezy here but the sun's out. Got death by Teams calls this afternoon, after which I might head out on the bike for a spot of light relief. Riding with a mate on Friday so might be good to practice a couple of hill climbs

Considerably better day, some residual blowy stuff this morning but that soon fizzled out. Dropped mulcher into shop for repairs, will cost a few hundred bucks, but hey ho.
Little else of note. Job avoidance is the major achievement lately.

Funding application ball now rolling on next phase of The Project, the PVs, battery storage and hybrid ASHP, combo of some grants, yes please, and 0% interest loans spread to a max of 12 years, essentially becomes a fixed rate part of the monthly domestic fuel bill.
There's some smart tech included, program the priorities, weather and £ factored in, between live usage, storage, heat pump, hot water, export, import... Looking to be installed by end October so this winter will be interesting to see how it works out. If the ASHP can provide a core base heating temp then the mains gas boiler will only kick in to cover cold spells and high demand. Plus I can fire up the woodburners as well.

Evening
Today started with a trip to Sports direct for goal keeping gloves for the grandson. Which is alway a delight. Then it was a trip to park to test said gloves which seemed successful. Not a lot happened this afternoon other than putting away the shopping delivery. Is there a Sundried tomato paste shortage forecast as we seem to be stockpiling it.
Managed a quick pedal once Mrs W got home.0 -

Vicks first defence nasal spray. I squirt this a couple of times after a flight. Fights off any potential lurgy. Have been combating colds successfully for years with this.sungod said:
