I think he's trolling you now BS - 'let's talk about roundabouts shall we?'.

I mean, it's part of my job to think about roundabouts and even I don't find them interesting.

It's not much better on ITV.
S4C commentary is like somebody reading a long wine list - so probably gets my vote as the best. Fitting for this stage.

    Looks a bit crashy

Was thinking the same. Feel the drizzle goes very well with the Welsh commentary...

    Jumbo are a bit good

    At messing up.

    The inevitable winner, this Tour.
    Far too easy again.
    This time without MvDP too.

Philipsen solo the final 600m and it didn't matter. Fastest man in the Tour.

    Philipsen's a bit of a monster, isn't he?

Laporte keeps getting WvA swamped at 500m to go.

Terrible lead out by Alpecin today but Philipsen takes it easily. Some big splits behind. Would have been a good one for Cav today as it was so messy.

Philipsen is congenitally incapable of sprinting in a straight line. Don't think it actually affected anybody that time, but sooner or later it's going to cause a crash.

ETA - he's clearly faster than anyone else remaining, mind. No idea why he doesn't just go in a straight line...

Accidentally switched on at 1.1. to go. That seems about right...

Jasper Disaster is Cav level of good this year...

The dark green bike looks great, but the jersey sucks.

Might as well put on the Bora jersey

Vingegaard and Pogacar timed at 7", along with Hindley.
Pidcock on the wrong side of a split, at 9", along with Bilbao and Rodriguez, plus both Yates.

Only minor gaps although with the top 2 so close it could have been meaningful had one ended up on the wrong side. I'm not quite sure how they happened as there weren't any crashes that I saw. Would have thought Pidcock would have held his position better on a messy run in than the others.

Two similar looking stages on paper really couldn't have been much more different in reality.

Needless to say, there's not a 3 second gap between those groups, so no time difference given.

3 second rule on stages 3,4,7,8,11,18,19 and 21.
