Experience with low pannier rack ? (Cube Nuroad)

Hi all, does have anyone experience with extra low pannier racks in general or the Cube Nuroad one in particular?
I liked the low profile of the in-house gravel rack from Cube and its integration with rear mudguard.
My problem is that on the right side, my Ortlieb roller would go right over rear derailleur.
Now the cable from the derailleur goes in at an angle, and points outwards.
The pannier would press against it and I am not sure it would do the mechanics much good.
On the left side, the hard plastic part from my Ortlieb sits on the of the frame, where the rear axle sits, so I taped some gorilla tape across, to prevent the paint from scratching off.
