    Moaning,

    Bright and blue, lovely

WFW today alone as my oppo is off ill. Had a beer after work yesterday and it went down a treat so might try that again.

(The nights don’t actually start drawing in until around the end of this month ;) )

Slow start, site meeting, work, out for curry & beer at newly opened restaurant.

    Nice walk with the hounds

Now a cuppa and work snizzle, later either another gentle run / ride or swim - but not all of them

You must live somewhere near with the Equator for that kind of horizon tilt?

    Sometimes. Maybe. Possibly.

Now do I ride into work tomorrow or save a ride for Saturday round the lanes? Decisions, decisions...

    Afternoon.
Just back from the dentist one tooth and 115 quid lighter. Apparently it’s no strenuous exercise and no alcohol for the rest of the day🤔 I wonder how that’s going to work.

    Hot in my sweaty office.

Hot but just about ok to work in day here in The Homeland. Hedge trimmings just about all done, and again no nestlings were evicted in the process, outside front hedge to retrim once the remaining roofing materials get shifted up The Slope.

Roofers making good progress, that was work day #9 and front, the more complicated roof, is almost finished. Will be tomorrow then focus shifts to the rear roof. I'm really pleased with the look of the new tiles and the modern tech for edging and the like.

Another first: first lift of 'Charlotte' salad potatoes from the tattie patch, they look good and I'll be tasting them soon. Rubs tummy, yum yum...

Fair point. Bike prepped for tomorrow early doors, both days look nice for riding.

Different rides. Warm up with flat to and from office (or where do you park up, do you have to climb in SE London?), then hilly lanes on Saturday.

That's about it - park up near Bromley and pedal -there a couple of bumps in SE London (Forest Hill and Dog Kennel Hill) but 'hilly' is stretching a point. Then do the proper hilly stuff on Saturday, got a few like this near me:

If I make it up that without putting my foot down then I count it as a win :) Quite steep as you can see...
