Shimano Dura-Ace 9200 compatibility?
Hi all,
I'm a long time user of Dura-Ace Di2 groupsets and wanted to upgrade to the relatively new 9200 series.
I'm perfectly happy with my 11 speed / Di2 / Rim brake set-up but would especially like to accommodate a larger 11-34 cassette. I therefore would like to install the new 9200 Rear Derailleur without having to upgrade absolutely everything.
Up to now, most reviews I've read either don't mention why both systems are incompatible or insist that it is only incompatible with the the old standard 9100 set-up, by citing the difference in the new smaller cables (SD300) compared to the old ones (SD50).
The trouble is, I've just found out that Shimano do an adapter, the EW-AD305, which can link the new SD300 cables to the old SD50 cables.
Wishful thinking, I know but I'd love to be able to simply buy a new 11-34 cassette, rear derailleur and the adapter and fit them to my existing set-up
Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

9200 is the new 12 speed .That's why it's not compatible,
Use an 11 speed 9100 RD ,it can accommodate a 34 cassette ,assuming your current set up is 11 sp1
