finally caught the covid, not been too bad, had a quiet week, aside from the coughing

advice is still no hard exercise too soon, which is annoying now that summer riding weather has arrived, one can still bask though

    Moaning,

That’s bad news SG eat cake and drink bubbly ;)

The current bun has finally made an appearance here

Have lots to do unfortunately but may find time to bask later should this bright stuff last that long

Must have been a good lie in as junior emerged from her pit first. Too warm for the hounds to be running around so will get on with a few other things and get a ride in later when hopefully I won't get toasted.

Gentle 40 miles. Passed the lake.

Stretch, shower, eat, feet up and switch between Le Mans and CdD whilst snoozing.
    Home made Pizza later.

    Afternoon folks,
Traditional slow start was had, mild hangover after a few too many beers last night. Was fun though.
Really should get on and do stuff, mainly getting things ready for our holiday.
Hope you don't suffer too badly with it SG, is this your first bout of the plague? Hopefully it clears up properly, I wasn't too bad with it, but was suffering with sinusitis on my left side for a few months after it finished.

Rubbish start, windy then wet, then wind and rain together.

Managed a couple hours on the trainer this arvo, longest ride I've done in maybe a year. Just highlighted how much my "fitness" (ha!) has declined. Work to do.

    Afternoon
Summer has finally appeared round here. Dogs walked before it got too warm. Discovered that a tin of paint had managed to empty it’s self in the wheely bin, so the first part of the morning was bin diving. Managed a sunny but very windy 63 miles, now catching up on the cycling.
There might be some wine later.

    Beans?

Alas, despite Beans' best effort to fertilise the Peony's, they aren't doing very well.
I stripped the bed that they were in in early spring and separated the tubers so I am expecting big things next year.
Therefore, I won't be entering the competition this year.

Ours are done already. This was a couple of weeks back.

Impromptu spin in the hills. Coldharbour Lane and Whitedown Lane ascended. Much grinding and gnashing of teeth. Roads in Surrey are still awful. Must get fit and lose weight. Maybe a month off the sauce will help. It normally does.

Then I had forgotten I said I'd jetwash the paving, so I was forced into that, despite being knackered.

Lunch out tomorrow with Mrs B³.
