Hi can anyone identify the correct tool to get the free hub open to service. I have this end open, the other end is a hex. I need the proper tool for this spline type tool. If you know what park tool it might be?

Looks like you're not meant to undo that splined thing...0 -
Actually, ignore that. None of the diagrams in the D.M. I linked look anything like the hub in your photo...
Maybe you need the D.M. for the Ultegra wheel complete?0 -
Thanks for your reply. Forgive me I do not follow what you are recommending? How would I undo this so the free hub releases?0

Shimano Ultegra WH-RS500 Road Wheelset
This is the type of wheel. How did you find support material for wheels?0 -

Looks like WH-RS500 wheelset is in here. Page 55 onwards0 -
Are you just trying to remove / replace the freehub? If so, it looks like it's secured by a tubular screw which just requires a 14mm allen key / hex bit. And they recommend using a new screw on reassembly.
But to get to that stage you first need to remove the axle so you may as well service the bearings while you're at it
Exploded view here if that helps:

Similar hub. Looks like the black plastic splined bit just pulls off before unscrewing the non drive side cone0
