    Raining here and ride rided yesterday so on the train into The Big Smoke. Recruitment type is buying me lunch to try and get some business - we'll see.

    Mrs. 666 has completed her plans for the garden so lucky bonus payments get dished out at the end of May...

    Morning bootleggers

    Sunny here but nippy. Yesterday wasn't a lot of fun.
    Full day week for the DW's after 2 consecutive Monday's off.
    Today i'll be mowstly doing a short pedal and very little else.

    Remco looks a bit knackered. Maybe he'll have a lie in.
    He'll crack big time at the end of the week at some point.
    You heard it here first.

    Slow hobble/walk with hounds and now work meh. Painful to sit or type because of various injuries 🙄

    Maybe gentle ride or swim later to start recovery

    @tlw1 how was your ultra?

    Saturdays stage at the Giro was a cracker, I'm not a huge fan of time trials but half watched it and didn't really pay much attention to the standings.
    Gym gymed.
    Hopeful of a slow ride again this evening, the weather is better but blimey it's cold in a morning.
    Maybe a few hours fishing with one of the small people tomorrow evening, who knows.

    @tlw1 how was your ultra?

    Afternoon folks,
    Working on a Monday seems utterly inhuman, every Monday should be a bank holiday. How many royals would we have to bump off to keep getting mondays off? How long would they last? Seems like a plan that gets rid of the monarchy and gives us lots of bank holidays, what's not to like?
    A moderately pleasant wobble in this morning, a little colder and windier than I would have liked but you can't have everything.

    Afternoon
    It’s now a nice day here but as it’s Monday it’s chores day. First job was cleaning the red wine stain of the carpet following some clumsy fool knocking a glass over last night 😢. A few other bits done before the power was turned off so the power company could trim some trees.
    Must be time to watch a bike race or two.

    Indeed it was. I was trying not to call Mr Pinno uninformed. Should be a cracking race.
