3,489.2km (73.2km ITT) and 51,400m spread over 3 weeks.

Starting in Abruzzo with a flat 19.6km ITT, the sprinters will have a couple of opportunities before the first climbing tests on stages 4 and 7. The difficulty then ramps up in weeks 2 and 3. The GC could come down to the final uphill TT to Monte Lussari (11km flat before 7.1km @ 12.3%!), before the road leads to Rome. This year's Cima Coppi is the Grand Saint Bernard at 2,469m on stage 13.

GC and Stage 1 picks before first rider goes down the ramp at 13.00BST on Saturday. Stage picks before 12.00BST (or before the first rider starts the TT) each day for stages 2-21.
