Can't put freehub back on!

Just took the freehub off my just out the box new set of Zipp 303 Firecrest to check it had the newest bearings installed (it does) but now I can't get the hub back on - it has too many pawls and they wont stay down even when adding a wee bit more grease! Anyone got any tips?

    Back in the day we used to wrap a piece of cotton around the pawls to pull them all in leaving a longish length of cotton free, then pull the cotton out once the pawls were all engaged. Will this work with your freehub?

    Ha! That's exactly what I tried. Sadly it didn't work - but I might give it another shot...
