    Moaning,

Not chilly at all, wow. Cloudy but no rain.

Lots of little jobs to be done today, if possible I’ll get them done early allowing time for a short ride and a beer later this saff

More family stuff later and service the gravel bike ready for next wks dirty reiver.

Are you doing the 200, the 130 or the 65k?
The whole Kielder area has become too commercialised and restricted IMHO.

out early, hills repeated, a few degrees warmer than the forecast with a hint of hazy sun at times, nice to ride in summer togs plus warmers and gilet

    Lazy like Sunday morning.

Having an idle look at some roadie bikes online as it's time to get something for the non communting rides now I'm doing a fair bit of that out in the sticks. And summer's coming. And my old Boardman is a bit knackered. May do some jobs this afternoon.

    Oxymoron?
Little sign of warmth nor hazy sun here.

    Afternoon folks,
Traditional slow start was enjoyed, this was followed by some gentle pottering, then swore a lot whilst changing the battery in the family bus, utterly f'ing inaccessible. Now my back hurts. Need to pop round to the old dear's to check everything is in order before she gets back tomorrow. First a bit more lying on the floor.
Quite mild here now, manual labour meant a t-shirt sufficed.

New bike ordered. Good price in the sale but will have to wait for a bit before it turns up. I'm finally going roadie :)

Couldn’t be bothered to fix that puncture then?

It was easier to just buy a new bike :) My old communter is getting a bit past it so might get moved to pub bike duties soon.

    Evening
Dogs walked, bike ridden now feeling rather battered. Might need a glass or two to unwind.

Great day, slow start after last nights party, then hill run with friends, few jobs helping my nephew then a longish walk and the pub

To be fair, it doesn't look as flexible as those bits of Italian pipe cleaners that you ride.

I like it. I'm sure you'll ignore the naysayers.

I've been looking at a cannondale super 6 with that sram electric groupset. However, this new job does cycle to work, so I'm not spending anything until I qualify for that. I expect my size will have sold out, or the offer been withdrawn by the time I can get a voucher.

I like my super six - only managed a hundred or so miles on it so far.

Re Planet X - got three of them, no issues at all

You know me B3 - I'm not swayed by poncey overpriced Italian machinery or bike snobs :) Seems like I'm not the only one as the one I specced has temporarily sold out and it won't land till late June. Good luck with yours.

Says the man who bought an AMG Merc.

Though it is pointless you buying a decent bike. I doubt you could tell the difference anyway.
