Perhaps shouldn’t have been on an all day session yesterday 🙄

Time for food and then get to the start line. Later is a long drive home in a slow van, hopefully get to the pub before it closes

    Morning overstuffed water buffaloes

    Today's schedule:
    Pedal.
    Dad's taxi.
    Lunch.
Feet up and Flanders on the telly.

TLW should have sufficient alcohol in the system as short term pain killer.
How you doing this morning Oxo, I presume they let you out and was there any sort f explanation?

Fiddle with my bike. Shortish ride. Walk dog. Pop to supermarket. Quick tidy and clean of house. Cook the rack of ribs I bought yesterday, probably with a baked potato and a vinegary coleslaw.

Surprisingly good sleep, only woken up by the hounds who need to go out for a dump. Got through my list of stuff to do yesterday so it's chill time for a bit while the other two are out, then a slow ride round the North Downs with a mate.

Local markets this morning, meaning a mediocre coffee. Finished refurbishment of an old mirror this afternoon, and called it a day.

Afternoon folks, traditional slow start was enjoyed. TLW probably finished his race before I did anything this morning. Kids are both home for Easter so house feels rather full. They both seem to be doing well, although they are both stressing about workload. More pottering this afternoon.

Cloudy cold ride Eastwards and before I got my bike in the house, the sun pops out.
    Meh.

But today's plan is on course (so far).

Ditto, cloudy ride until the end when all of a sudden felt like too many layers. Back in time for last 80km of the Ronde. 👍

Sunny ride but absolutely freezing, out on summer bike but wearing full winter gear. Now catching up on the cycling.

Ditto. I'm mashed. The difference 4 or 5 deg c can make to a ride is significant.

Nice leisurely 48k round the lanes, took in a new route to the North amd East of Sevenoaks - nice n sunny and decent riding temperature (about 10c). Chill time again.

Half day as off to Devon for a long(ish) race, but as we are meeting some pals tonight and the race isn’t until Sunday I imagine a lot of ale will be enjoyed.

Ooh a hilly race. Your knees will thank you Monday morning 👍
They are already complaining today! Doesn’t look too hilly 🙄
