Welcome to the PTP thread for E3 Harelbeke 2023, sometimes known as the little tour of Flanders. We’re back in Belgium as the season really begins to ramp up following San Remo.
The race takes place this Friday (24th March). Usual PTP rules will apply so get your picks in before the racing gets started.
You can find the provisional startlist here:
https://www.procyclingstats.com/race/e3-harelbeke/2023/startlist
As you can see, all of the main protagonists of the Classics season appear set to ride.
Past winners:
2022 VAN AERT Wout
2021 ASGREEN Kasper
2020 No race
2019 ŠTYBAR Zdeněk
2018 TERPSTRA Niki
2017 VAN AVERMAET Greg
2016 KWIATKOWSKI Michał
2015 THOMAS Geraint
2014 SAGAN Peter
2013 CANCELLARA Fabian
Last year saw Jumbo take control of a race that Quickstep had won the last three editions of. WVA has some way to go to catch up with Tom Boonen’s record total of 5 wins though.
The route:

Basically, it’s 204km of cobbles and bergs on the road from Harelbeke back to Harelbeke. Clearly I can’t predict the winner but I can certainly advise you not to miss this race!

Great race and a good result for PTP players as almost everyone scored points with WVA pickers winning the duel with MVDP supporters.
