Santa Cruz MT v2 bottle cage...

Sorry if I'm just being a bit thick but I bought a Specialized cage to fit on the glove box of my MT.
Am I going to have to drill the holes of the cage wider or spend (lol) £60 on the Santa Cruz cage? Have tried messing around with the screws and can't see an alternative.
