At 2750 meters it is the second highest col in both Italy and France but what is it like to climb in the middle of winter; hard !

That looks stunning, well done.
Haven't done any cross country skiing in years, used to go with my Italian uncle and cousins when I was in my teens. Saw some amazing places you couldn't get to by many other means.
