The peloton looks vaguely organised, but the gap is 1m3s with 15 km to go

  • Jumbo get their first podium clean sweep of the season.
This is getting more than a bit predictable.

Well, arguably having their RVV or PR winner peak a month too soon and also pulling off a fairly unremarkable 2 team mates from a break of 5...

    Yeah agreed.

Belgians pretty cheesed with Quick Step but Benoot is a pundit’s favourite so they’ll take the consolation prize.

They really don’t like van Baarle (far too Dutch for the Flemish)

Just because we're all so used to seeing QuickStep screw up such an advantage in the early classics, doesn't mean every team has to...

Really good example of how a strong team rides classics today

Sky back in the day should have done it this way. Instead they rode it likes it’s a GT

It is quite impressive for a team who started without a proper bunch finisher, to just tear it up repeatedly between 70 and 50km so that it was a small group finish.

It's also impressive for a team to (possibly) dominate the classics AND the Tour/Grand Tours. Sky for example never did.
