helmet straps too long

Hi all,

Just bought a new helmet (POC Air Ventral). Helmet fits but have found the excess chin strap material is too long and looks silly sticking out the side. Does anyone cut the excess chin straps or have another way of tucking it away?

Helmet is a large, medium was defiantly too small but have never had so much excess strap sticking out the side.

Can be annoying when excess is flapping about. If you do trim, burn the end to stop it fraying.

Trim it and if it's the nylon type heat it and squash it to stop fraying

I concur. Trim it and seal the trimmed ends then tidy up the loose ends with a bit of shrink wrap.

Yup. Scissors, then cigarette lighter and squash it while it's hot.
