Hounds, WFH with hopefully the nine mates of youngest all buggering off early doors.

Riding bikes potentially twice later, once with a returning pal to cycling and hopefully later with an mtb mate who might just buy the race bike 🀞

Not sure I will fit a run in

UTFE (Up Too F****** Early) again as got a few more real meetings in town where you actually sit in a room with people. Waking up at 3:30 didn't help either.

Have left Mrs. 666 to supervise the decorating work.

    Morning iconoclasts

    Dull.
Mower fun today: pre season service, seen as the grass hasn't really stopped growing all monsoon.

Twas a rather cold but dry ride this morning in the depths of the garage, at least the lunch time swim session will include actual swimming.
Onwards after that to a site meeting followed by dinner out.

Not falling for that scam again πŸ˜‚

Most are not high end specs, I.e. single speed specialised CX bike, spent more on the new wheels than I bought the bike for, a few Planet X bikes (race / TT and gravel), old mountain bikes, and so on

It is an absolute giggle - if you look at Sundays 2nd ride on Strava there’s a few pubs there……….. this time current wife actually used her cheat bike - but normally the tandem

    Morning.
Dogs walked, later will be taking them for a haircut. I will attempt some more weights and battle with the turbo.

Morning all, including legohead 🀭. Wobbled in again this morning on dry non greasy roads for a change and no wind. Spinners bang on with the pic. Getting a bloke to part with his bikes is like getting a woman to part with her shoes.
Too many bikes according to Mrs O.

    Afternoon folks,
In the orifice again, same old, same old... Still driving in which is really tedious. On the brightside it should be light the next time I'm able to wobble home at 5.30.
So if TLW buys himself a unicycle he'll have a complete number to make the bakers dozen. Seems like a good reason to me. So what is the new race bike? Onwards and upwards...

I do have a unicycle but only count my half of the tandem πŸ˜‚

Have ordered a cannonade super six

Less Jayne M, more like walk with knackered legs. More heavy lifting in of materials for The Project (Garden Division) and removal of debris left by previous nutjob owner with his half-, no make that more like sixteenth-ersed, start something then abandon it way of not doing things.

Will go collect summer roadie bike (hopeful that spring is a-comin') from LBS post its first full service since πŸ€” 2019... got used a lot during the c-word 2020 spring and summer, but hardly at all in 2021 as I was gravelling all the time, then got back on it last summer. Now then, faites vos jeux, how much?

Would it not be better to have a couple of decent bikes than a shed load of mediocre one's?
