PTP 2023
Welcome to the 19th Annual PTP Competition
First off, a big thank you to @dish_dash for his long-term PTP service. This thread was directly ripped-off from dish's work.Minor change for 2023: Benelux tour removed due to clash with Vuelta. Giro dell'Emilia included to fill the gap between Vuelta and closing weekend.
How to Play
Playing along with PTP is extremely simple - you don't have to sign up or join anything other than the Bikeradar forums. If you're already a member here, that means you're already eligible to play.A few days before each of the chosen races, a PTP thread will be started in the Pro Race forum. That thread will contain a selection of useful links - start lists, race maps, past winners and so on. All you have to do is consider who you think is likely to win and post their name in that thread. It's that simple. If the race in question is a stage-race, you also get to predict the daily stage winners.
Post your pick in the relevant PTP thread before the cut off. If you change your mind then please post as a new post rather than editing your old post.
As you play, your scores will be added up and the overall season rankings will be updated in this thread. The scorer's will do their best to ensure scores are accounted for accurately, but ultimate responsibility lies with each player to make sure their points are correct.

Points are finalised once the race organisations publishes their results. No adjustments will be made if it later emerges that a rider has failed a drugs test or if a rider has wins retrospectively removed from their palmares.Prediction Cut-off
Always the contentious one! The cut off is 12pm (noon) on the day of the race. This is strict so predictions at 12.01 won't be counted (exceptions made for split-stages, evening prologues etc. as described in each race's thread). No GC selections will be accepted once a stage-race has begun.2

I usually only do the tour ... I'll give it a full season this year for a change"If I was a 38 year old man, I definitely wouldn't be riding a bright yellow bike with Hello Kitty disc wheels, put it that way.
