Bike Insurance For Trip Abroad

For the very 1st time I'll be flying with my bike next month so I'm looking for some kind of insurance that will cover it particularly when it's at the mercy of baggage handlers.

It will be in a Bike Box Alan so don't think i can do much more from that point of view but would still like a bit of backup in case the unthinkable happens.

Single trip policy would be preferable as it's likely to be my only trip travelling with it this year.

Any recommendations most welcome.

    You have to check that your bike is covered first, and take the worldwide optional extra. Also check the security requirements. Some cover is restrictive beyond practical. Change companies if it is.

    I've been having a look round for a few weeks now & it does seem far more complicated than it needs to be.
