Converting to fully integrated cabling

in Road general
Hi, so I decided to go for a 2019 Giant Defy advance pro 1 ( ultegra mechanical shifting hydraulic disc) The cables currently come out below head set then go in to stem and taped along the bars.
How easy would it be to reroute up through the headset along the stem and in to some new carbon compatible bars?
Would the headset and stem need replacing as well as the bars or just the bars?

You’ll need to upgrade your bars, stem and headset. Routing hydraulic hoses and cables will prove time consuming, then bleed the brakes.
I put some prime bars ( internal cables) on my tarmac. My advice, swap the Ali for carbon bars. Reduces the road vibration substantially. I appreciate someone will say carbon bars are a waste of money but to me they are a worthy upgrade

If you want hidden cabling you really need to buy a bike designed for it.
It is really strange routing on the Defy as exits just below the headset by the looks of it but then goes back in to the stem and comes back out and just taped to the bars .... Don't see why they just didn't do it fully from the off
Giant do a headset for hidden cables .I believe it was 2018 one of the first iterations its called the Giant Stealth aero stem .I worked on 1 not too long ago .It uses rubber spacers for the back portion where the cables come up then over the top of the bars to thread through to the shifters

There are bars and a stem on ebay for 350 quid
