    Morning all. Bright and chilly out. Local parkrun and ride later plus a bit of domestic shizzle to keep the OH sweet. Losing both lads later to their mates 18th, might be headaches for them later.
    Too many bikes according to Mrs O.

    Just nudging above zero here in the sticks, so scraping scraping the frost off the Panzer and taking the hounds for an outing shortly. Beanie hat required as I got scalped last thing yesterday. Maybe a bike ride later if I can get other stuff done.

    made a careful traverse of the highgate ice cap - the burst water pipe is no longer burst, but to go with the dug up road there's a thick slab of ice along the road, nasty

    aged srm batteries not liking the cold, stopped reading at 2 celsius, once fingers warm up i shall whip it off and solder in new ones

    on the plus side only need to do it every 3-ish years, also gives a chance to wipe off accumulated gunk deep in the spider

    done now, took about an hour, ordered another pair to be ready for next time, back to lazing

    Evening folks,
    Quiet day of doing very little, mate popped round for a beer which was nice. Leg is getting better, doubt I'll be riding for a bit longer though
