    😢 buxxer. That's sad. Saw her live once, in a stadium in Budapest in 1990. Cracking gig. She had John Miles in her backing band, also sadly no longer with us.

    More whataboutery, but at least it's cycling whataboutery.
    Taking a blow to the head is accidental in cycling and the risk is mitigated through mandated helmet use in racing.
    Taking a blow to the head in football is a core skill.

    Re headers tbh coaching a reasonably high standard u16 girls team as I now am it is a dilemma. They are good players and good players head the ball - but females suffer concussions more easily so those that don't like it I find it quite hard to say you've just got to do it.

    I tend to go down the ideally you head it but I'd rather you got something on it than pretend to and it goes through route.
