Short Zwift session before work done and dusted, not feeling completely right today and nothing to do with a hangover as we were tucked up by 9 last night. Mission to replace the dead twinkly lights later and procure a few Christmasy bits.
It's strangely green outside today. Still raining but as the hounds haven't been walked properly for a couple of days we're headed out to get soggy. After that will start working working through my list of stuff to do and may be squeeze in a pedal.

This was my laptop wallpaper prior to riding it. Higher resolution files are available on t'internet.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting. I am not sure. You have no chance.
Great picture PB, the Stavio Pass in Italy at a guess - Did you go up and down it? or is it just a pipe-dream
Moaning, Day off today so a well needed lye-in was taken. Temp seems to have risen (a little) which is most welcome, so a little shopping by cycle is on the cards to help work off the mince pie consumption

Did it in July. Prato to Bormio one day then up and back from Bormio the next day, after the Gavia. Apart from being a long climb the most notable part is the terrifying descent through the tunnels to Bormio. Go slow at the tunnels is my advice to anyone going.

Morning. WFW today. First bike ride for nearly 4 weeks. Commute nearly killed me. Determined despite the wet weather. A balmy 12.5C could have worn shorts.
Boiling on the ride in. No gloves, summer base layer. The sexy tights could have been replaced by shorts and knee warmers. Heavy tailwind assistance. Will be a grind on the way home.
Afternoon folks, In the orifice every day this week, having wobbled in every day last week when it was bloody freezing I wimped out and drove in today. It was very wet and gloomy so a major case of CBA beat me, besides I have stuff here I need to carry home and I had to go to Sainsbury's to stock up on beer, schools have knocked off for the holidays so there was less traffic and a variety of other excuses were used to justify my feebleness. Half way here realised I'd left the Pandoro I meant to bring in at home, but that means more for us at home. Trying to remember to wear my new specs when using the computer, I'm definitely getting older.
Don't answer him, it's a trap. Drove up the Stelvio in a TR6 one July day in about 1987, left it outside the restaurant with the roof down. Came out to find it had snowed and there was over an inch of snow on the seats. The mechanical fuel injection didn't like the altitude so we had to thrash it to keep it running smoothly. We had CB radios so the lead car would tell us what the last car before a big gap was, this meant we could overtake on the approach to a hairpin bend. This might have upset a few other drivers that didn't know this. Much less traffic in those days, very few bicycles as well.

Pleasant ride this afternoon with a friend in my sexy shorts and sexy christmas jersey. Wore baselayers and longs on the hike this morning and was boiling.

That was quite a good game of footy yesterday.
Today will be chores and indoor pedalling. Must get that Stelvio poster so I can perk the rollers in front of it.

Depending on start time completing in the dark is a possibility. 😉
