Tuesday, down with that sort of thing
Hopefully, this will improve the sledging conditions.
Will try and get the 944 (complete with working ABS pump you'll be pleased to know) to the welder bloke and then hopefully... for an MOT next week when it all goes mild and damp again.

Cold, bloody cold. Could have wobbled in but a few side roads are still icy and didn’t fancy hike/skate a bike sections.
Roll on Christmas 🥳Pinno, מלך אידיוט וחרא מכונאי0 -
Yep roll on Christmas
This work thing isn’t fun1 -
'ning
nippy stroll, about zero i think, snow mostly gone from streets, leaving the odd patch of ice to break the bones of the unwary
feels like mince pie and coffee time
glad to hear beans enjoys the snowmy bike - faster than god's and twice as shiny0 -
It is warmer and it’s def potato here as we are in the golden triangle for growing potatoes apparently (says my farmer mate with a couple of planes and a helicopter - so assume he knows his stuff)thistle_ said:

Not that long ago we were joking that the car might be ready before the next ice age. You might have just missed the deadlinepinno said:Brr -4 according to various sources but I haven't got a proper external thermometer unless I jump in the car and switch the engine on, which is a bit silly.

Working from dining room again as it's still -3 in the cave. Dealing with lots of crapp from the Kingdom of Far Far Away and looking forward to knocking off for the year on Friday..."I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0

Back in Northernshire after a weekend in London with the little kids.
Sealife, Winter Wonderland, Shrek Adventure, London Eye, palace Trafalgar & Leicester square markets... etc...
Pretty quiet on the work front, may send a few emails and stuff.
Probably stick the tree up tonight.

Afternoon folks,
Another day in the orifice, managed a slow wobble in on the old MTB. Does that mean Seano is more sensible than me? I'm worried now, might have to revisit my life choices. Or does it mean he's just a big jessie? Actually wasn't too bad today, it was -4 Garmins in the park, I reckon that's about 0'C then. They've gritted most of the roads and the paths in the park so hardly any ice about, the old bike is easier to handle when it gets slippy and has flat pedals to facilitate panic mode. First aid course tomorrow and Thursday, might walk to that as it's less than a couple of miles.

The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.

Ours always used to come down on 4th Jan which is a bit early but because eldest son's birthday is on 5th and we tried to make it as un-Christmassy as possible. Now both boys are 30+ and have their own lives miles away we'll probably take it down at Easter...0
