you're maybe not too far from the cable car that goes over to the o2, the ride/view adds some fun, there're several places in the o2
kinkao (thai) by the river at the bottom end of the isle of dogs is good, seemed family friendly, you might need a taxi for this one - but if you're planning on eating on the way back from central london, you could get the river bus back, the restaurant is a short walk from the stop at masthouse terrace pier, the boat ride is more fun than the tube/dlr
mala (indian) is closer, imo not as relaxed as kinkao, it's down on the river at the west end of cw

Of the chains in CW, wahaca, franco manca (pizza, but not junk in my book) and gaucho are OK. We have a wahaca and franco manca in Wimbledon, and have happily taken the kids to both (albeit a little older than yours).
