    How do you stop them becoming un-repaired when you up the running?
    Run at granny speed - as the mileage increases the pace drops. With the hound walks and some running I average 14 miles a day currently

    Cool, the highlight of my day so far has been locating some plant based Philadelphia.

    Short run earlier, rellies over for lunch and a little bit of WFH after that. Swim session booked for this evening.

    Bliss. A fully operational front brake. It's been getting worse, but this morning I could pull the lever all the way to the bars and the wheel would still turn more or less freely. Braking in traffic on just a back brake is not a good idea. Therefore I dumped it at the bike shop nearish to work for a bleed (even though I'd done it not too long ago).
    Turned out not to be my duff bleeding, but an invisible, and unknown to me, screw that adjusts the lever pull. Not the screw that adjusts the shifter position. Anyway, it had almost come completely loose. A quick tighten, and all was good, and I'll know for next time. They could have said they'd done a full bleed etc and I'd have been none the wiser. They only charged a tenner, and wiped all the autumn crud off my bike into the bargain.

    I found a roadside grill place doing suckling pig, rabbit etc with the papas arrugadas and both mojos for €10 when I was there in October. I'm not sure whether it'll be Crete or Lanzarote next October, but Lanzarote had the edge with the weather.

    Headed back from the work Xmas party as I ran out of beer tokens. The footy was showing on the big screen at the party so the Japanese expats were absolutely lathered which was quite amusing. Hot Polish minion kept buying rounds of Vodka shots and wouldn't take any money for it - good girl. She was also getting a bit tactile which was tempting but dangerous >:)
