Looking like a wash out. Might find a hidden cozy corner to go back to sleep at work. Wake me when the sun comes out.

This sounds like a good idea.
Currently got a corner of the office to myself, but I wouldn't describe it as cosy.

Ask TLW to whisk you back to summer in his time machine.

    Morning Visigoths

It's dull and drizzly and grey and damp and more like November as it's a bit chillier.

ABS pump arrived yesterday which means fun extracting the old one, taking both apart and doing a valve transplant.
I'm filled with trepidation and excitement in equal measure.

That almost makes you sound like a surgeon.

Same grey dull wetness here so it's down to the cave I go and will make a big hot cup of coffee to get me kick started. Mrs. 666 is walking walking the dogs regardless of weather - if it's possible for dogs to look unimpressed, they did it.

Miss Ukraine must still be slumbering in her pit. Seems she takes some sort of sleeping tablets which knock her out a bit.

Took the correct decision to wfh. Staring at the rain while on a call.

Morning all. Currently minging in South Derbyshire. Still DIY duties, trying to be quiet as eldest is covering a couple of night shifts for someone. Luckily noisy stuff is mainly done till plasterer comes Thurs. Turns out the builders in 1895 could be rough arses as well as today's. Having to put their shizzle right, hopefully not to late to cause a problem.
Too many bikes according to Mrs O.

Morning. Minging weather. Totally soaked on commute in. Thank God for warm work showers and new Goretex winter booties.

  • I think today was just like Blighty... didn't make double figures in temp, was blowing a howler from the south all day, and we had about 2" of rain all up. Dreadful.

Spent the morning doing nothing at all other than a coffee and some staring out the window. Got busy-ish after lunch and fired up the turbo trainer. Did a nice steady hour ride, then risked a walk down to the letter box only to be disappointed at the emptiness.

Postage to Tassie is probably a bit steep to send 'spinner some stuff for larks.

In those Continental Cup A Soup things? Those (here) have 621 additive => MSG. Most packet soups do...

  • Zoom meeting earlier, I can still count on one hand the number of those I've had since C19 kicked off.

Wet here so managed a 30 minute Zwift before work, was supposed to be swimming over lunch but abandoned because of an influx of distraction.

Just looked over a supermarket own brand cup a soup, no MSG. However, no doubt post Thick Lizzy's Brexshit UK/Australia "not actually very good" trade deal we can enjoy such like additives again. Rejoice, freedom, take back control, cough cough.

Evening. Just finishing off at work, about to head off to collect Mrs GTi from work. Really wish she’d learn to drive! More marking this evening. Good times.

At least I have the office to myself for a few minutes at the end of the day 🙂

    Evening folks,
Another day of tedium and stupidity in the orifice bookended by wet wobbles. Nearly finished putting the coffee machine back together, just need to test it before putting the covers back on.
