Can I cross brands for disc rotors ie put Shimano rotors with SRAM calipers?

    There are some minor considerations for pad material compatibility, and I’ve found some discs are simply noisier than others, but they will all work.

    A local LBS mechanic is of the opinion that Shimano rotors are much sturdier than SRAM counterparts.

    Whjen I went from R7000 hydro to Etap Rival I kept the Ultegra Freeza rotors, they might be a little noiseier than Sram but I saved £100 going this route.
    I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.
