The double French road champion Audrey Cordon suffered a stroke while preparing to travel to the World Championships in Australia in September. She's since had surgery and believes she can restart her cycling career next year with Trek-Segafredo and is aiming for the ITT in the Tour de France Femmes in 2023, she's already planning to take the "autobus" on the Tourmalet stage. The ITT and reduction in mountain stages was a wish of the competitors. He biggest worry is that enthusiasm for the women's tdf will wane in the future.
