Chilled start after a fun pub night.

Guests flight was delayed so they couldn’t get their hire car and had to stay at the airport.

    Later is undecided

I'll do Pinnos job and say its quiet here, where is everyone?

Sorting out Wifey's car MOT and service today so WFH. Quite a few people away for half term so work should be fairly peaceful, but we'll see as there's alway the risk of an ambush.

Me responding to emails and a faulty smoke alarm that went beep [long pause] beep all night. Taped gaffer tape on to it to quieten it down. Then hoovered the firkin thing, then got the 'lid' off and snipped the speaker wire. That'll teach it.
It's linked so it will trigger the other 3 even if it doesn't go off.
    Must find a replacement.

Meanwhile, trying to trace my best mate; worryingly gone off the radar.

Feeling motivated today after popping a T5 with my morning water so a club run later followed by some sea bass.
    WFW in the meantime.

Damp ride in this morning, my bike feels so much faster than last week's hire bike.

WFW, will go and see someone about my dengue at lunchtime, maybe gym later

WFH in the end, as simply couldn't be @rsed to go in, and too much domestic stuff to deal with, so easier to have the additional hour at each end of the day that would normally be taken up by commuting/changing/showering.

    Afternoon folks,
Another day in the orifice, surprisingly pleasant wobble in though. Was expecting to get wet after the biblical weather last night. Someone has managed to park their Lexus on top of a traffic light and a brick wall in the middle of Kingston. I suspect it was a combination of driving like a tw@ and the weather. It's on a corner that tends to get very big puddles, but it could have just been that the driver was a tw@ and didn't need any help.
Thistle, I'm guessing the paraffin is to help with the dengue. Good luck finding your mate Pinno, hope all is well and they're just off having a good time.
We had a system 'upgrade' over the weekend. The only clue so far that anything has changed is that it took longer to log in and it seems to crash more frequently now.

Mate's fine. Kidnapped by Brighton and Hove Albion so he's very very busy.
He was over the moon with getting the job*.

*He's now manager (for all the green areas other than turf).

As a Crystal Palace fan (I mean wtf?), I suggested placing the bedding plants in the letters CPFC.

Have you bought a tri antelope bike with a saddle position over the BB?
Are you going to get tattooed up?
Are you going to end up looking like a stick insect on a diet?

Keep taking antihistamines until they go away was the conclusion.

Use an orbital sander and if that doesn't work, a bench planer.

Pitch is in a much nicer place than Palace, lad's been to a couple of matches there, nearest he's come to supporting a team, as his best mate from uni is a huge fan.
