Has anyone fitted a 105 HT crankset to a CAAD12 by any chance?
Is it an easy enough install?
Any problems or potential issues to be aware of?
Cheers!

Pretty easy. Although I made the mistake of not noticing the spacers on the crankset I was replacing. Took me a few days to work out what the knocking noise was coming from the BB.Pinno, מלך אידיוט וחרא מכונאי1

Cheers @seanoconn
Wanted to make sure there was not too much faff involved before I ordered one. Some cranks/bb combos are far beyond my mechanic abilities!0 -

Rather than a pre-load tool I used a tyre lever with a rag on the end to remove/install the pre-load cap. Anything that fits and is not likely to scratch will do.Pinno, מלך אידיוט וחרא מכונאי1 -
Good tip - thanks!0

I've just changed to 105 cranks as I installed a Token Ninja thread together BB30. The original BB/Crank set up never span very freely, I much prefer the Shimano setup/adjustment than using different spacers to get the right preload.0
