    Nice slow start with a swim, breakfast and now a walk into the village.

    All the girls are having a spa day so a longish run and local bar are calling.

    Wine tasting at 14:00 and then back to the chateaux’s honesty bar.

    Out for dinner later

    Holmfirth 10km run yesterday which was quite hilly, 220m of climbing. At one point the road dropped steeply into a small valley and then obviously went in the opposite direction.
    There was a word used which 99% of the field used... began with an F and rhymed with duck.
    Quietish day at work, may do the club run tonight but not sure yet.
    Advocate of disc brakes.

    Morning all. WFW as usual and currently suffering from taking eldest for a beer or few. Luckily he isn't in today otherwise he'd be in trouble. Hopefully run later if I CBA.

    Early start this morning as I decided a hybrid commute was in order after a successful test ride on the weekend. Weather forecast managed to get it wrong so I got a bit damp on the second leg - ironic really as I was watching a programme last night about the great storm of '87 and how the weather forecasters got it so hopelessly wrong. Then looked a tomorrows forecast and thought yep, it'll be fine...

    Just tucking into a large cottage pie to make up the calorie deficit.

    Yeah Monday. Had better ones.

    Unexpectedly dreary weather, had to do taxi duty into town. Stopped for lunch at usual cafe, but blah food today. Picked up some stuff for dinner on the way home, disappointed to find the usually excellent quality stuff from the deli was vying with the lunch cafe for Least Tasty Food of the Year. More blah.

    Evening folks,
    Busy day in the orifice with surprisingly warm wobbles at either end.
    Computer system still fubar and had a bit of fall out over my not going to Italy this week. Still not going thankfully, at least it's known it's not my screw up.
