The current wife ended up staying over so I cycled into town for a run with some pals last night instead.

Today is rest the knee with a walk, work stuff and then a swim later

On the train into town for a change. Was dark when I got up for the first time in a good few months, must stop getting up too early :)

Nearly ran in the back of a bin wagon this morning who suddenly stopped in the cycle lane right in front of me without warning. Skillz saved me - this time

    Windy and dull again.
Need rays. Just enough rays to hit the conservatory to warm it up. Doesn't take a lot.
Need post, Just enough post so I can finish off sorting/pampering my new old front 944 seats.
    Need coffee. Just enough co...

Your lack of bubbly disappoints me...

Just polished off a pineapple based fruit salad for breakfast.
Auditor is auditing today, I don't think I could think of anything worse I'd like to do job wise. He literally sits there typing things about what I've typed.
Swim session booked for lunchtime followed by a ride after work if the weather holds.

Put his address up and I'll send him random bits of metal without postage so he has to pay for it.

The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

There used to be people who would appreciate a bit of sawn off box section but not now. they'd look at it in corporate disgust.
In fact, I might send one saying "Rate our new frame material" and see what happens.

Wasn't drafting, there was a tailwind so no need
Traffic up ahead was pulling away from a set of traffic lights, then the bin wagon stopped dead just before the lights.

Visitors left this morning. Serenity returns... bliss.

Rubbish weather though, cool and windy all day. Stripped another bike down to parts to see if I can sell the frame and major bits. All the components should be easy to shift, just don't want to be stuck with a bunch of frames and wheels.

Rain tomorrow predicted. Might be a chance to clear out some cupboards in the house which have been untouched in a few years..

His shed is the size of an aircraft hangar, so if you size up from that pro rata, I reckon his living quarters put most palaces to shame. :)

Wfh for me today. Putting a few bits in carry on luggage now. Breakfast with bubbly in the lounge tomorrow.

Treated myself to a subwoofer for the front room, which arrived today.

Going to go and watch something with booms and bangs in it.

Mi play di ras claat junglist tunes aya. Or did I watch a bit of star wars, with whoosh and boom? Either way, I'm now an anti social heavy bass muth@fucka.

All fine pinno. But the bass...

Me and mini watched the latest Andor earlier, and she was all about the "ooh it sounds like being at the cinema".

I had to turn off Metallica. I have neighbours.

The Shed is disproportionately large compared to the house. 🙂

I’d not describe this place as “stately”.

Big - yes. (About 450 m2 all up I think)

    Ugly - certainly.

I’d never in a million years commission a design like this. We bought it for the location, the location, the shed and the views. House was incidental. We’ve made it comfortable, and sorted most of the decorative horrors, but it will never tick the box of architecturally beautiful…
