Dog done. Trying to summon up energy to do some foul intervals on the static bike. Mrs Bยณ is off up town to see a play and meet a pal. I'm going to take Mini to buy cacti and crystals.

    Morning folks,
Slowish start has been had, just having a tea break as we're clearing the kitchen ready for work to start. Shame it's me doing the work.
Slightly hungover after a very good night.

Err, I don't think a dip in a sex pond counts as swimming.

    Slight change of plan.
Horsey bloke is only going to get some of the apples and the rest goes to horsey woman. She wears Jodhpurs
    They have this wigwam effect.

So I am sat here eating a mini ensemble of apple (Reverend Wilks) and dark hazelnut chocolate before venturing out.

I can see Seano in the waiting area shaking like a leaf and chewing his nails to pieces like an expectant dad.

Dropped off this morning, just collected.

Walter the Volkswagen. Passed like the superstar he is. Tester told me he could use new rear brakes. I probably should get round to fitting the new brakes Iโ€™ve had sitting in the front passage for the past 8 months.

Back felt unexpectedly better so went for a spot of Panzercise on the long way round to the supermarket. Feel better for that, but no idea why my back muscles suddenly decided to to going into spams after 2 weeks of giving me grief. Maybe they're leftie back muscles and have gone on strike with Mick Lynch's lot today?

Shouldn't we annex cake stop first?
I reckon we could take the XC/Enduro with little resistance.

Not sure about annexing Cake Stop: should we absorb something that boring? It'd be like England annexing Belgium.

Spent the day in town, markets in morning, then MONA in the afternoon. Been a couple years since my last visit, and many new exhibits.

This was the most exquisitely engineered work. The centre of a very large room had the base with all the wires running up the column, then fanning out to the walls. Probably 80-100 panels around the walls like the ones shown in the photo with pieces of charcoal, ochre, burnt sticks etc being dragged ever so slowly by the movement in the wires. Stones are counterweights for wire tension.

The secondary piece was a giant block of compressed ash and ochre which had a water drip suspended over it, also driven by the fine wires, to randomly erode it.

It has strategic value and will be easy to do. Plus, it isn't a member of NATO.
