Bottom Bracket Conundrum
I've just replaced the bottom bracket on my 7-year-old Wilier GTR Gran Turismo.
Being a BB noob, I ordered and fitted a Shimano BBR60 (English thread) which seems to work fine, although I haven't given it a ride yet.
But as the cups are smaller than the original, the ugly stripped paint can be seen.
So, the question is should I...
a. touch up the paint with something suitable, and leave the BB, or...
b. replace the BB with larger cups. And if so, can anyone recommend the right BB with larger cups to match the original?
I'm attaching the pics of the original and the replacement.

Just leave it. I doubt there are many of those original Shimano BBs in circulation nowadays.
And the BBR60 will work exactly the same as the old version.1 -
