    Morning All. Tip run done disposing of flat pack hell from years ago. Taking OH out, eldest still off with stressoid and youngest has gone down with the snots so going to be quiet. Mutt walked in the early morning mist. Running later again.

    Holy fly trap Batman, that could be a move: reckon I have some old solar lights in a garage box somewhere, let one charge, hang it on a tree branch, invite the bats back to munch on whatevs. One thing that has annoyed me in the new fort is the abundance of irritating bluebottle type flies; mayhap side product of rural dairy farm world with slurry spreading.

    Think today will be more garden fettling, there is a very long list, give more hedges a #2 all over thank you sir, crack on with greenhouse base site prep ahead of rain forecast for late afternoon.

    Ecent lie in had, now hilling with hounds and a coffee just now. Will head out later then there's a spot of admin to catch up on. Btw that new series of Frozen Planet is on the box tonight and sounds like it's worth a watch.

    Definitely didn’t miss that…damn it. More excitement though - was on a panel giving evidence to the STPRB the other day. Let rip about pay differentials and a lack of perceived value for us old teachers.

    Evening folks,
    Traditional slow start was enjoyed, things went downhill from there. Went looking at kitchen units with the EPO. This was followed by assembly of much MDF and fibreboard. Still, better than going to work at the moment.

    Not exactly. Apparently they do this every year - ask schools for their point of view and then talk to the government about what their plans are before making a recommendation. Either way, need more cash!
