Berkshire Rural

I'm visiting near Reading next week and aiming to do a 40/50 mile ride in that semi-rural corridor NE to SW from Henley to Chertsey, between Reading and Slough. Anyone local have have any routes, road suggestions, good coffee stop knowledge etc?
Thanks
Steve

Not quite in your corridor, but Hambleden is a nice little village and the shop there does cheap and cheerful teas and coffees.

Reading Cycle Club have a facebook page, which I think you can just join - probably worth dropping a post on there to see if anyone has any known routes/cafe stops.

I occasionally ride down that way to visit family, and don't recall it being the most pleasant of roads, and have also never looked for somewhere to stop.

Velolife cafes in Wargrave, Warren Row and Twyford (Bia) are all good.
